Piano

I will cover the basics of music theory, including note identification, scales, and chords. Students will learn proper hand positioning, finger techniques, and the importance of rhythm. I will cover improvisation and interpretation of chord charts, along with sight-reading and ear training to develop musicality.

Guitars

My students will gain knowledge and theory of the fretboard while learning songs in various genres. Acoustic guitarists will learn chord basics and playing with a capo using various chord shapes. Electric players will learn how to create rhythm parts and play lead lines and solos.

Drums

Drum students will learn fundamentals and rudiments on the snare in parallel with drum set basics. They will learn to play for the needs of the song and members of the band to help everyone sound their best.

Electric Bass

Learn to use the bass to compliment the song and enhance the groove. I teach positional hand techniques so you won't have to constantly look at the fretboard.
